Maybach 62 - how do you feel !


      "The Maybach 62 is the epitome of luxury; it is Excellence Refined." Measuring almost one-and-a-half feet longer than a standard Maybach 57, this vehicle casts an imposing shadow and stirs an air of intrigue. The vehicle has been designed with the passengers in mind, and to that end 100% of its additional length is devoted to the rear cabin.    
   
     In sufficient lighting conditions, five rows of six silicon solar cells generate approximately 60 watts to power the vehicle ventilation fans, after the engine has been shut off. Solar module is included with the Electrotransparent glass roof package. The optional External Communicator allows the Maybach driver to communicate to the outside world without lowering the vehicle windows. The system functions via a microphone wired to the front glovebox. An under-the-hood mounted speaker facilitates communication.
   
       Both the front and rear seats in the Maybach are master pieces of comfort technology. All the seats are heated. The shoulder belts automatically adjust to the height of the driver or passenger, which helps to enhance their protective capability. The seats are upholstered in Grand Nappa leather and feature multicontour seatbacks with dynamic lumbar supports. All the seats are electrically adjustable for fore/aft, height, seatback and cushion angle, cushion length and head restraint height.

2010 Toyota FT-86 Concept review

 
     The Toyota FT-86 Concept was introduced at the company's 2009 Tokyo auto show. It's got eye-catching looks, rear-wheel-drive, a horizontally-opposed four-cylinder engine, and a six-speed manual transmission. And a production version is due by late 2011. on-again relationship between Toyota and Subaru, nearly got axed twice. Since that date, the economic downturn led to two cooling off periods in which the destiny of the project hung in the balance. the Toyota-Subaru design team already had a significant springboard in the form of a Subaru platform and engine helped build the case to keep it alive.  
       
        It was powered by a 2.0-liter, naturally aspirated four-cylinder boxer engine from the Impreza lineup but with a reworked Toyota head that should generate around 200 hp. It will also incorporate a six-speed Aisin-built manual gearbox. The FT-86 is also expected to inherit the front MacPherson strut, and rear double wishbone setup from the Legacy.    

      The FT-86  car was based on the third-generation Prius but uses first-generation lithium-ion battery technology developed by Panasonic. It was offered by 98-horsepower 1.8-liter gasoline engine, with 105 pound-feet of torque. The plug-in is intended to have a 13-mile cruising range and the ability to cruise at highway speeds on pure electrical power. The lithium-ion battery setup is targeted to recharge in three hours at 100 volts and 100 minutes on 200 volts. It emit less than 42 g/km of CO2.

2010 Acura ZDX - supercar !


     The Acura ZDX luxury four-door sports coupe made its world debut at the New York International Auto Show today. The production version of the dramatically styled prototype goes on-sale in the fall of 2009. The segment bending ZDX features stunning coupe-like styling with the added benefit of a commanding presence and flexible utility.

The ZDX will deliver sports sedan performance on the road with its powerful V-6 engine mated to an all-new, smooth shifting 6-speed automatic transmission. The potent powertrain will be coupled with Acura's exclusive Super Handling All-Wheel Drive™ system.

Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2010

     
      The Genesis Coupe comes with an available naturally aspirated V6, sure to be a motor to find its way into more of Hyundai's lineup. The high output engine offers 310 horses on premium fuel. Also availble in the Genesis Coupe line is a turbocharged 4 cylinder motor producing 2.0 liters, which has an output in line with the Japanese compact sports car competitors. 
     The Hyundai Genesis Coupe's arching roofline and tapering greenhouse highlight the exterior profile and emphasize the car's broad shoulders and wide stance. It rides on standard 18-inch alloy wheels or
optional 19-inch wheels, both delivering a bold stance and aggressive handling An information display screen, features an outside temperature reading, audio system information. Analog gauges include a large speedometer and tachometer positioned so the driver can immediately access critical driving information.

Ferrari FF - new supercar

 
     At The 81st Geneva International Motor Show will play host to the unveiling of two major new Prancing Horse innovations: the revolutionary FF, a four-wheel drive four-seater with a mid-front V12 that is the most powerful and versatile car Ferrari has ever built, and the 458 Italia sporting the HELE (High Emotions Low Emissions) System which cuts CO2 to just 275 g/km.

       The FF offers a completely new take on the sporting Grand Tourer theme. The V12 unleashes a massive 660 CV at 8,000 rpm, and maximum torque of 683 Nm at 6,000 rpm with 500 Nm already available at just 1,000 rpm. This ensures the performance figures of an extreme sports car, with the 0-100 km/h sprint covered in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 335 km/h. Efficiency has been significantly boosted too, with fuel consumption now standing at just 15.4 litres per 100 km, and CO2 emissions at 360 g/km, a 25 per cent reduction compared to the previous V12s.



      Everything of the FF is tailored specifically to the needs and tastes of its driver with a choice of six exclusive colours and the finest Frau aniline leathers specially treated to enhance their natural softness.
